Become a Caregiver

Interested in becoming a caregiver? Explore our open positions to learn how you can support individuals and families through meaningful, home-based care.

Become an Approved AFC Caregiver

Becoming an AFC caregiver means supporting someone in your home while being part of the Adult Foster Care (AFC) program. In most cases, the caregiver and the person receiving care join the program together.

AFC caregivers help with daily activities like meals, personal care, and routines that support safe living at home. They also receive a monthly stipend through the MassHealth AFC program in recognition of the care they provide.

If you would like to participate as an AFC caregiver, our team will walk you through the process, explain what’s involved, and help you understand how to become one.
